In search of significance and social prestige, a billionaire businessman decides to make a film to create a lasting legacy. To do so, he hires the best of the best: famous filmmaker Lola Cuevas (Penelope Cruz) and two renowned actors, both enormously talented, but with even bigger egos. The Hollywood actor Félix Rivero (Antonio Banderas) and radical theater thespian Iván Torres. Both are legends, but these two alpha males do not get along in the slightest. With Lola’s psychologically tumultuous rehearsal techniques, they must face not only each other but also soon their own legacies – and a nervous breakdown.
